Participant Updates

Curtis Curtis
After leaving Calder Treatment Centre, Curtis has remained clean and sober. He continues to be active in sports, this is his passion and that helps him stay focused on his priorities. Curtis will graduate from high school in 2010.
Carly Carly
Carly continues to learn from what happened to Zoƫ and does not want to make the same choices that her sister did. She is working hard and doing well at school.
Nolan Nolan
Nolan is doing remarkably well after the end of Drug Class 2. He had become clean and sober and has rebuilt the relationship with his mother by becoming more responsible. He has been working a full time job in the construction industry, which is giving him the responsibility and self esteem he was always looking for.
Kristie Kristie
Kristie continues to improve. After two nearly fatal overdoses, Kristie has been clean and sober for two years and counting. She has competed a cosmetology course and continues to kick box. She recently spent a month in Thailand training. Recently, Kristie enrolled in an E.G.G. course.
Kirsten Kirsten
Kirsten as well has been clean and sober for over two years. Presently she is living on her own and continues to run. Kristen is enrolled in a youth care workers program as well she is volunteering in community-based recovery programs. She continues to grow socially, emotionally and spiritually. She wants to become a youth drug and alcohol counselor in the near future.
Travis Travis
Travis is sober and working and has had the same job for over a year. He has also moved into his own place and is doing well.
Suzie Suzie
Suzie is working fulltime and living on her own. She has been accepted into a psychiatric nursing program and will start this fall fulfilling a long term goal of hers. She has her addiction under control.
