Thanks to the Community Of Hay River and to the K'atl'odeeche First Nation for being such great hosts for our visit there.
You are doing some interesting and innovative work to try and improve the health and wellness of everyone in the community and especially the youth.
We know that substance problems start when we are young, 95% of addiction and substance abuse start before we are 17. The more work we can do to help kids avoid starting the better their lives will be.
There are a lot of really interesting programs there, "Lights On" , "Drug Free Zone", the Youth Centre and Wellness programs on K'atl'odeeche First Nation.
The best thing you have going on is your people. Keep up the good work!!
