Interesting day in Whitewood, Sk. yesterday.
I was invited to do some training with the high school teachers and to do a community education session in the evening.
Whitewood is also the home of a "medical marijuana" store. I popped in to meet the owner and invite him to the evening session. Friendly guy, very committed to his beliefs and his product, we chatted a bit about CBD, the non psychoactive cannabinoid that seems to have some medical value, I also was clear on my position about THC and teens, he said he was very strict about no minors in his shop..
He did show me a couple of products indicating that they were for cancer..
During the presentation he(“was wearing a cannabis cures” t-shirt) seemed to get disturbed when I was talking about not using marijuana when driving and got very disturbed and abruptly left (apparently in anger) when I was talking about links between THC and testicular cancer.
He did make some subsequent comments on his Facebook page about “haters” and the fact that his testicles were fine and a few other things.
He isn’t one of my 3000+ facebook friend so I couldn’t comment back.
