Regular substance use changes us, it changes the way we think and feel about everything. Part of the problem is that we don't notice this change because it is relatively slow. It sneaks up on us.
If you want to get some insight on where you are at take a four or five day break from using any mood modifying substance (a week would be better) and pay attention to what changes. What is difficult about leaving your substance alone? What feels better? More energy? Better memory? Etc.?
If you can't or won't try that you might want to ask yourself why? Our usual answer is "I could if I wanted to but I don't want to." if that is where you are at it would really be worthwhile to check to see if that is really true? Can you? Check our video posting "The letter"
Let us know how you did!!
